SPA has an immediate need for a for a REMOTE Junior SAP Business Analyst.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing and assisting J8 with clearing invalid balances and transactions from Provide and assist J8 with clearing invalid balances and transactions from Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) to convert a supportable trial balance.
  • Assisting with analyzing current EBS data to identify invalid transactions and anomalies.
  • Assessing data quality against DoD’s standards and requirements.
  • Assisting with developing and implementing data cleansing processes to correct anomalies, resolve invalid transactions, and standardize data.
  • Assisting with validating the data for accuracy and integrity through various techniques.
  • Providing support to the team as needed and completing other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: 89k-113k.
Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and between 1-3 years of relevant experience, specifically in the federal sector
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and the ability to learn other tools as needed
  • An active SECRET clearance is a requirement

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with or knowledge of purchase orders, sales orders, fund reservations, purchase requisitions, and standalone FI AP/AR/disbursement/collection documents
  • Experience with or knowledge of order to cash and procure to pay experience
  • Ability to understand relationships of key SAP purchases, sales, inventory, and financial tables
  • Experience supporting and collaborating with DoD stakeholders, senior leadership, and DoD/Army Financial Management personnel
