JOB DESCRIPTION

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is looking for a motivated and dynamic Junior Scrum Master to join our Minotaur software development team. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact, foster innovation, and drive project efficiency.
This is a hybrid role based in our Hanover, MD office.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong foundation in agile principles. You should be a natural leader who can motivate and inspire others to do their best work. We are seeking someone who is committed to continuous improvement and is comfortable communicating with people at all levels of an organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
  • Strong interest to obtain a relevant Scrum certification such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP).
  • Familiarity with Jira.
  • A strong understanding of servant leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution, and empowerment.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge of various Scrum techniques (e.g., burndown charts, retrospective formats, bug handling).
  • Achieved relevant Scrum certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP).
  • An active Secret security clearance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
