At JYSK, we are looking for a Junior Security Specialist to strengthen our security infrastructure across a wide range of technologies.

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING

We are looking for a new colleague who:

  • Has a relevant IT-related education. We value attitude and willingness to learn over specific skills.
  • Have experience working in a SOC (Security Operations Centre) or an interest in incident response and analytics.
  • Enjoys creative problem-solving and exploring new ways to approach challenges.
  • Combines theoretical security knowledge with practical, hands-on implementation.
  • Communicates clearly, thinks analytically, and works well both in teams and independently.
  • Is organised and proactive in learning new skills and tackling challenges.
  • Familiarity with security tools like AV/EDR/DFIR tools, IPS, firewalls, SIEM, etc.
  • Having prior experience in laboratory work or projects will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Security analysis, which involves monitoring and analysing alarms across various security products.
  • Security engineering, including supporting and maintaining security products.
  • Identifying threat activity, where you will ensure timely and accurate justification and communication of findings.
  • Incident management, which includes documenting and managing security incidents and related findings.
  • Gap analysis, where you will identify security gaps, assess their impact, and communicate them clearly.
  • Security product management.
  • Providing security best practice input to improve JYSK’s security posture
