Junior Service Technician
Prince George Office Systems (POD)
Location: Terrace BC / Smithers BC
Position Status: Permanent, Full-time

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Junior Service Technician will be primarily responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of all Ricoh equipment along with the installation of hardware and software for POD and its clients. This is a hands-on, field-based role that requires a mechanical aptitude and a keen willingness to learn and develop new skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn new technical skills
· Positive attitude with a passion for providing excellent customer service
· Team player with a willingness to collaborate and support colleagues
· Highly organized and able to manage time independently
· Ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
· Cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity
· Basic technical troubleshooting abilities
· High School Graduate or equivalent
· Valid Class 5 Divers License, clean driver’s abstract, and the ability to travel
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
· Regular and punctual attendance at work is essential
