Are you ready to dive into the dynamic world of energy trading? Join Axpo as a Junior Settlement Trading Specialist and contribute to the seamless financial settlement of trading activities. What you will do: Ensure timely and accurate control of cash flows between trading systems (ENDUR) and accounting systems (SAP/BC). Manage the financial settlement of electricity, gas, certificates, coal, oil contracts, and derivatives. Investigate and clarify financial settlement queries, collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders. Report actively to management and stakeholders, contributing to transparency and decision-making. Support process handovers and establish new workflows within the local and wider team. Collaborate on projects affecting Settlement Trading processes, driving innovation and efficiency. Maintain strong communication with teams in Switzerland and other European stakeholders. Accompany audits and develop sustainable solutions to address findings. Continuously optimize processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and compliance standards. What you bring & who you are: Education in accounting, finance, economics, business, or technical fields (university/university of applied sciences). Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. Strong analytical skills and tenacity in investigations. Proficiency in Excel for analyzing large datasets; experience with ETRM and ERP systems is an advantage. Knowledge of energy trading processes and financial markets is a bonus. Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Team-oriented, adaptable, and motivated to learn and grow. High customer and result orientation while ensuring quality under time pressure.
