The Position: We are looking for an On-site fitter/factory based General Operator to join our current team for Installation and maintenance of Industrial Steel doors on sites along with metalwork & GRP solutions.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Full clean Driver licence- Over 25 years
  · Experience preferred
  · Travel + overnight stays required on occasion
  · Safe Pass + Manual Handling training (Required as minimum)
  · Capable of reading installation drawings, site layout etc.,
  · Good time management
  · Capable of meeting deadlines
  · Work on own initiative and as part of a team

• Competence in hand and power tool use, including drills, grinders, and fixings.
• High attention to detail and precision. Safety-conscious and quality-focused. Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to varied site conditions. Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

• Prepare tools, equipment, and materials for each job.
• Follow all relevant health and safety legislation, including PPE, working-at-heights procedures, and manual handling protocols.
• Maintain clean, hazard-free working areas.
• Conduct operational tests to confirm correct movement, locking, and safety features.
• Demonstrate operation and basic maintenance procedures to clients.
• Complete sign-off documentation and report any defects or adjustments needed.
