Description Qualifications • Ability to communicate clearly and articulate technical information effectively in person, via email, and over the phone. • Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in tasks. • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, tools, and practices. • Familiarity with operating systems, networking concepts, and security protocols. • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance as well as part of a cybersecurity team. Job Responsibilities • Monitor security alerts and logs to detect potential security threats and vulnerabilities. • Assist in the investigation of security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents. • Use SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools to collect and analyze logs from various sources. • Create and maintain documentation related to security incidents and investigations. • Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments and regular security audits. • Participate in security awareness training and promote cybersecurity best practices within the organization. • Use ticketing systems to log and track security incidents and their resolution. • Other duties as assigned, including participating in after-hours on-call rotations for emergency response. Requirements Requirements Applicants must reside in Florida or Georgia. This is a remote role and requires access to a stable and reliable internet connection. Must be able to operate computer and network equipment for extended periods of time. Ability to sit for long periods and maintain focus during continuous monitoring activities. Flexible to work shifts, after hours, and weekends as needed for 24/7 SOC operations. Additional Requirements Pass background check & drug test.
