We are looking for a Junior Software Developer with strong backend programming skills and an eagerness to grow into a full-stack role. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful projects in environmental technology while working with an experienced and collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs for the MIZU-LINK platform.
• Work with Microsoft .NET, Python, and related frameworks for backend development.
• Design and manage relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or equivalent).
• Contribute to frontend features using React.js where required (training and mentoring provided).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, QA) to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure system reliability.
• Support deployment and monitoring of applications in cloud or on-prem environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proficiency in at least one backend language/framework: Microsoft .NET (C#) or Python.
• Understanding of database design and SQL queries.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and integration practices.
• Exposure to React.js or willingness to learn frontend frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS cloud platform.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Interest in IoT/remote monitoring platforms.
