POSITION SUMMARY

DAC International is seeking a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and customization of the software applications that power our automation platforms. This role is ideal for an entry-level engineer or programmer who is eager to grow their skills while supporting both in-house development and customer-facing projects. While much of the work can be done remotely, this position requires occasional travel to customer sites for training, integration, and support.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent programming experience).
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming.
• Familiarity with TypeScript/React or a willingness to learn.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and version control (Git preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits and training.

• Develop and maintain software components using C and C++.
• Write and optimize custom scripts to improve automation and integration.
• Assist in building and maintaining user interfaces with TypeScript and React.
• Support the integration of software with automation systems and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Participate in software testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, controls) to ensure smooth system integration.
• Travel to customer sites as needed to support installations, conduct training, and provide technical expertise.
