QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (students in final year may also apply).
• Basic programming experience or coursework in Java and/or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with web development concepts, such as HTML, CSS, and frameworks like React or Node.js, is a plus.
• Understanding of database concepts and basic knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
• Exposure to version control systems like Git is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a growth mindset and willingness to learn.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, and a collaborative attitude.

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of web and backend software solutions using Java and/or JavaScript.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, product teams, and QA staff to translate business requirements into functional software components.
• Develop clean, maintainable, and well-documented code under mentorship from experienced developers.
• Aid in troubleshooting, testing, and debugging to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Take part in code reviews and actively contribute to technical discussions and process improvements.
• Learn and apply best practices in software development, testing, and version control.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks relevant to the development stack.
