Sword Services Greece S.A. is looking for experienced Junior Software Engineer (Java/Spring Boot). The successful candidates will work in a multicultural environment supporting our core business in large Information Systems for the European Commission. What you will do Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of Spring Boot, Java EE applications; Support the team in building microservices architecture; Write clean, maintainable code under the guidance of senior engineers; Contribute to technical documentation; Create and execute unit tests (JUnit); Learn how to deploy and configure applications in cloud or on-prem environments. What is your experience BSc's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or any other relevant field; Solid understanding of Java (object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms); Some exposure to Spring or Spring Boot (university, internships, or personal projects); Excellent command of English language, both written and spoken. Exposure in the following will be considered as an asset: Cloud & DevOps: AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, Lambda), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (Git, Maven, Jenkins); Databases: Relational and Non-Relational.
