About the role... We are currently seeking an experienced Junior Software Engineer (Java/Spring) to join our team. The successful candidate will work in a multinational environment on a multitude of tasks supporting our business in implementing and developing solutions for large EU and international institutions and private sector companies in Greece and abroad. What you will do Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of Spring Boot applications; Support the team in building microservices architecture; Write clean, maintainable code under the guidance of senior engineers; Contribute to technical documentation; Create and execute unit tests (JUnit); Learn how to deploy and configure applications in cloud or on-prem environments. Technical Skills required... BSc's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or any other relevant field; At least 1 year of experience in Java Spring Solid understanding of Java (object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms); Some exposure to Spring or Spring Boot (university, internships, or personal projects); Excellent command of English language, both written and spoken. Exposure in the following will be considered as an asset: Cloud & DevOps: AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, Lambda), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (Git, Jenkins); Databases: Relational and Non-Relational.
