Junior Software Engineer – IAM Specialist About The Job Imagine a world where leasing a car is as seamless as streaming a movie. As a junior software engineer, you will learn and shape our core platform and product portfolio to meet unique Identity and Access Management (IAM) challenges. You will ensure our IAM solutions are integrated across our foundational platform and product portfolio, aligning the big picture of identity and access across all our systems. It’s about speed, scale, and building a robust IAM foundation that supports our global ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include: Assist in the design, integration and configuration of our IAM foundation using Keycloak to manage identities across a complex business landscape. Implement and manage OAuth and OpenID Connect protocols across our platform and products to ensure seamless and secure access. Build and improve software modules under the guidance of senior engineers, focusing on enhancing our current platform framework and solutions. Collaborate with fellow engineers in an agile Scrum team, participating in stand-ups, backlog refinements, and retrospectives Work closely with Product Owners to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions Engage with our global developer community, share best practices and modern security trends. What else is expected: A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Solid understanding of Java (familiarity with Java 17 is a plus) and modern enterprise java frameworks and design patterns. Basic knowledge of identity protocols (OAuth, OIDC) is a plus or a strong desire to become an expert in this domain. Understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MSSQL.
