JOB SUMMARY: Endurance Warranty Services, LLC. is looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our engineering team and help build and support a variety of enterprise software systems. This role is ideal for a new graduate or an early-career engineer (0–2 years) who wants to grow their skills in a modern stack and contribute to real production work from day one. You’ll primarily work with C#/.NET and React, building new features, writing tests, and collaborating with teammates across a fully remote environment. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: What You’ll Do Build new features for growing collection of enterprise software applications Write and maintain tests to ensure quality and reliability Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to understand requirements Participate in code reviews and learn best practices Debug and fix issues Contribute to the documentation and continuous improvement of development workflows Leverage AI tools like Claude Code to accelerate development, debug issues, and learn new patterns Who This Role Is For We’re open to candidates across a range of early-career experience levels: Option A — New Grad / Entry Level (0–1 years) Great fit if you: Have recently earned a degree in CS/Software Engineering (or completed a bootcamp / equivalent experience) Have class projects, personal projects, or internship experience Understand fundamentals like data structures, APIs, databases, and debugging Are eager to learn and excited to be coached Option B — Early Career (1–2 years) Great fit if you: Have 1–2 years of professional or internship experience writing production code Have contributed to shipping features end-to-end (even small ones) Have experience writing tests and working with Git-based workflows Can independently take on well-scoped tasks and communicate progress clearly Understand how to effectively prompt AI tools to assist with coding tasks and problem-solving Have practical experience using AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.) in your development workflow Performs other related duties as assigned or as business needs evolve. QUALIFICATIONS: What We’re Looking For (Must-Haves) Strong problem-solving skills Clear communication and comfortable working in a remote team Familiarity with modern development practices and willingness to learn Ability to write clean, maintainable code and test your work Understand how to effectively prompt AI tools to assist with coding tasks and problem-solving Practical experience using AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.) in your development workflow Nice-to-Haves Prior internship or professional experience Portfolio/GitHub with projects you can walk through Experience with enterprise systems, CI/CD, and/or Agile workflows PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Sitting or standing for extended periods; repetitive motions; use hands to handle equipment or controls; reach with hands and arms; typing on keyboard; viewing computer screen extended periods; speak clearly and hearing Regular use of typical office equipment, computer software, programs, and methods of communication such as a computer, e-mail, phone system, and messaging. In a remote work environment, being interactive and communicative with management and co-workers in a visible manner is an essential function of the job. Camera/video usage is required.
