Accountabilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain software solutions for financial processes. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design and coding to testing and deployment. Build and enhance features for backend services and APIs, applying accounting knowledge to improve workflows. Identify automation opportunities and optimize reconciliation and reporting processes. Evaluate and deploy software tools, processes, and metrics to improve efficiency and accuracy. Provide support and guidance on software systems usage for internal teams. Ensure compliance with project plans, coding standards, and industry regulations. Prior experience as an accountant or financial analyst. Solid understanding of financial operations, including reconciliation, reporting, and compliance. Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java) and experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL). Familiarity with backend API development and software engineering tools. Knowledge of software development methodology, version control, and release processes. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or related field. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn new technologies quickly. Effective communication skills in English (C1/C2) for collaboration with international teams. Nice-to-Have: Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, React Native) or DevOps/cloud technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, Gitlab CI/CD).
