Description
Imagry is looking for a Junior Software Test Practical Engineer to join our Haifa office in Israel to perform software field testing in Nahariya autonomous bus project. You will be responsible for the whole car software / hardware testing pipeline, issues reporting, and team communication. This is an opportunity for a field position in the autonomous driving industry with real-world experience in features testing. Responsibilities: 1. Manage Software test cycle which includes; running test scenarios, configuration management & code debugging. 2. Report the main Software / Hardware car issues to the appropriate engineer, this needs an understanding of the technology and capability of pinpointing where a problem is located and who is responsible to fix it. 3. In charge of Hardware fixing in the bus – switch GPU, RAM etc. 4. In charge of communication with bus drivers and driver’s training. 5. When not testing in the bus, you will be requested to work from Haifa office and write the bug reports. 6. Able to read and write in Hebrew and English. You will be required to write emails and reports in English. 7. You will participate in demos for visitors / potential clients, and you will present the software to the visitors. Requirements 1. Practical Engineer diploma in Computer Science / Electronics / IT 2. At least 2 years of previous experience as a computer lab technician (basic knowledge of using lab tools and equipment) 3. At least 2 years of hands-on experience with C++ or similar (code investigation) in LINUX environment - Advantage 4. Experience with git / docker - Advantage 5. Willing to perform software testing and drive in the car at least 7 hours a day in different weather conditions. 6. Willing to perform under pressure and meet the required deadlines 7. Detail oriented, good communication skills (verbal & written in Hebrew & English) with the different teams. 8. Driving license – must 9. Familiarity with the Autonomous Vehicle field - advantage
Responsibilities
You will manage the software test cycle, including running test scenarios and reporting issues. Additionally, you will be responsible for hardware fixing in the bus and communicating with bus drivers.
