    Andea is looking for Junior Software Tester. We need a candidate who is ambitious, highly motivated, with basic knowledge of manual testing and willing to develop in automated tests. A person who pay attention to detail, is able to analyze requirements, create and execute test scenarios in cooperation with the development team. We offer interesting international projects that require involvement in tests both in the development phase and implementation phase at the client’s location.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Basic knowledge of manual testing
  • Basic knowledge of SQL
  • ISTQB Foundation
  • Good English communication skills, written and verbal

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

  • Experience working with global, distributed teams
  • Postman
  • Soap UI
  • Experience in software testing, writing and executing test cases
Responsibilities
  • Create appropriate test scenarios based on software specifications
  • Design, create, execute and maintain manual tests
  • Correctly report bugs with detailed descriptions
  • Consult with development engineers and business analysts to resolve problems and design the appropriate tests
  • Attend status meetings and provide oral and written reports regarding work progress
  • May take part in researching best practices, new tools and technology
  • Analyze test results to ensure that functionality works as designed and recommend corrective action if needed
  • Track defects to ensure adequate resolution
  • Provide estimates of quality assurance time and effort
  • Create appropriate test data, as well as build and maintain regression test suites
  • Monitor test execution, collect metrics, identify coverage gaps and apply required corrections
  • Participate in test reviews
