Description
Company Description At Streem, we are building the next generation SaaS platform to empower the commercial management of renewable energy assets. Our mission is to accelerate the energy transition by enabling asset managers, investors, and operators to extract more value from their renewable portfolios. Job Description We are looking for a high-potential engineer, either a recent graduate or someone with up to ~2 years of experience, to join us in a high-ownership, fast-paced role working closely with the founders, especially the CTO. This role is intentionally broad and demanding. You will work across Operations, Product, Sales, Admin, and Engineering, with the goal of understanding business problems quickly and turning them into concrete technical solutions. Your responsibilities will include: Understanding business-critical challenges and translating them into actionable technical solutions. Rapidly prototyping tools, scripts, and workflows to test ideas, validate assumptions, or unblock teams. Building internal tools and automations (data processing, reporting, onboarding, billing, testing). Structuring, cleaning, and transforming unstructured or messy datasets provided by customers or partners. Exploring and collecting data (including web scraping) to support product discovery and decision-making. Using Python, APIs, data tools, and LLMs to execute quickly and pragmatically. Communicating clearly with non-technical stakeholders and explaining trade-offs, constraints, and next steps Qualifications Engineering graduate or final-year student from an engineering school or equivalent background. 0–2 years of professional experience, including internships, apprenticeships, or strong personal projects. Strong foundations in Python and comfort working with data. Ability to design and build functional PoCs or end-to-end internal tools within a few days, using modern development tools such as AI coding assistants (e.g. Codex). Comfortable working with incomplete specifications and shifting priorities. Genuine interest in business, operations, and real-world impact, not only technical challenges. Strong appetite for rapid prototyping, experimentation, and pragmatic execution. Autonomous, fast learner, able to take ownership of high-impact topics. Fluent in both English and French (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus. Clear communicator, comfortable interacting with both technical and non-technical teams.
