HOTEL JUNIOR SOUS CHEF – BUCKINGHAM

We are currently recruiting for a Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen brigade at a beautiful venue in the heart of Buckingham. The Junior Sous Chef will assist the senior chefs in the preparation and service of food on their given section for multiple outlets, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times.

THE PERSON

The ideal Junior Sous Chef will have the following:

• Solid experience in a fresh food kitchen as a hotel Junior Sous Chef
• Run sections and kitchen in service
• Experience in banqueting would be beneficial
• A creative approach to seasonally changing menus and a busy multi outlet operation
• High standards of cleanliness, stock control, and task prioritisation.
• A true passion for food and have the enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
• True team spirit, enthusiasm and the right attitude will go a long way!
• The ability to run a section
• Have a thorough understanding of health & safety and food safety guidelines within the kitchen.
• Possess a willingness to meet the high standards that are demanded from a luxury establishment.
• As the hotel is located in the heart of Buckingham, having reliable means of transport to this area is essential.
