So, we’re searching for a Junior Sous Chef with a passion for bold flavors, consistency, and teamwork to support the heart of McGettigan’s Kitchen. Whether it’s a busy service or a special event, you’ll help deliver high-quality dishes while keeping standards high and the kitchen running smoothly. A little taste of your day-to-day: Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be: ● Supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations ● Preparing and presenting dishes that meet McGettigan’s quality, taste, and brand standards ● Leading and supervising kitchen team members during service and ensuring smooth workflow ● Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness ● Monitoring with stock control, ordering, and minimizing waste ● Encouraging and responding to guest feedback in collaboration with the management team What we need from you: ● Degree or certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional training ● 3–4 years’ experience in a professional kitchen, ideally in a high-volume environment ● Must speak fluent English (additional languages are a plus) ● Previous experience in a senior chef de partie or supervisory role, or an equivalent combination of education and kitchen operations experience What you can expect from us: We give our people everything they need to succeed.
