JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Junior Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in oriental / chinnese food production and preparation, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Junior Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are met, and leading the kitchen staff to maintain high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a Chinese/Oriental restaurant environment.
  • Strong knowledge of chinnese/oriental food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in hospitality.
  • Culinary qualifications or relevant training is preferred but not essential.
