We are seeking a talented and passionate Junior Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the Head Chef in the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that high standards of food preparation and presentation are maintained. EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant environment.
  • Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of food preparation techniques and presentation.
  • Demonstrated ability in team management and leadership within a fast-paced kitchen setting.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn and grow within the culinary field.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation and production.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to at all times.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
  • Help resolve any issues that arise within the kitchen team or during service.
