Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As Sous Chef, you’ll work closely with our Head Chef to lead the day-to-day kitchen operations. You’ll take ownership of service delivery, support team development, and contribute to menu creation and kitchen strategy. This is a hands-on role that offers real influence, professional growth, and the chance to be part of something special.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Head Chef in running kitchen service with consistency and calm
  • Help manage and motivate the wider kitchen team
  • Contribute ideas to menu development and seasonal updates
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, prep, and food safety
  • Take ownership of stock management, ordering, and cost control
  • Train and mentor junior chefs, fostering a culture of learning and support
