SearchPlus HR is excited to announce an opportunity for a Junior Consultant in Colon and Rectal Surgery to join our healthcare team. This position is ideal for early-career surgeons looking to gain invaluable experience and expertise in the field of colorectal surgery. As a Junior Consultant, you will work under the guidance of senior surgeons, participating in patient assessments, surgical procedures, and post-operative care. This role offers a unique chance to develop your skills in diagnosing and treating conditions related to the colon, rectum, and anus while contributing to effective patient care. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the evaluation of patients with gastrointestinal disorders. Participate in performing diagnostic procedures such as colonoscopy under supervision. Support senior surgeons in surgical operations, gaining hands-on experience in various techniques. Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and support to patients. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and post-surgical care. Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a collaborative approach to patient care. Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, adhering to best practices in documentation. Engage in ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance surgical knowledge and skills. Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of practice in all patient interactions. Participate in departmental meetings and case reviews to contribute to a high standard of care. Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with a valid medical license. A strong interest in colorectal surgery with some clinical experience preferred. Basic surgical skills and familiarity with surgical procedures related to the colon and rectum. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork. Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment. Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. A collaborative spirit, working effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Working Time is Full Time.
