JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. EXPERIENCE

  • A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Familiarity with SOX compliance, LIHTC regulations, governmental accounting, non-profit accounting, or public accounting is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes is essential.
  • Knowledge of financial concepts including accrual accounting, double-entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and financial management is required.
  • Experience with financial software systems for efficient processing of transactions and reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
  • Conduct cash flow analysis and bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

  • Collaborate with team members on auditing tasks and regulatory reporting requirements.
