Description Junior Staff Impact Care Advocate CNA Wichita, KS Job Title: Junior Staff - Impact Care Advocate CNA Company: Impact Home Health Location: Wichita, KS Payrate: $18.00 to $ 20.00 Per hour Job Type: URGENTLY HIRING Full-time Job Description Impact Home Health is seeking a motivated and people-focused professional to join our team as a Junior Staff – Impact Care Advocate. This role is a caregiver support floater. This role provides short-term caregiver support for patients as needed, as well as conducting basic wellness check-ins, assisting with peer-to-peer caregiver training. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about people, enjoys coaching and relationship-building, and wants to make a meaningful impact in the home health field. Key Responsibilities Fill in for regular caregivers on short notice, as scheduled by staffing team. Provide non-medical care and companionship to patients in alignment with their care plans. Serve as a stopgap caregiver during periods of active recruitment or unexpected absences. Perform brief, non-clinical wellness checks on patients as assigned. Report observations or concerns regarding the patient’s safety, condition, or environment to the nursing team promptly. Peer Support & Caregiver Training Assist the nursing team by helping demonstrate basic caregiving technique (e.g., proper transfers, personal care routines, documentation reminders) to new or struggling caregivers. Provide informal mentorship and model expected standards for quality care delivery. Provide constructive, strength-based feedback to support caregiver growth Promote a positive company culture through regular caregiver interactions Collect feedback and share insights with leadership to improve programs Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with company and state requirements Track engagement metrics and assist with reporting Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous experience as a caregiver or home health aide preferred Demonstrated reliability, flexibility, and a calm, team-centered attitude. Minimum of 2 years of caregiver experience MUST have valid Kansas driver’s license, reliable transportation, and meet agency insurance requirements. Ability to adapt quickly to new patient environments and care situations Willingness to travel within assigned service areas on short notice Skills Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills Excellent communication, listening, and coaching abilities Professional, organized, and detail-oriented Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Comfortable using technology and digital tools Schedule Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Rotating weekends (every other weekend required) Saturday: 8-hour shift Sunday: 8-hour shift Weekend hours scheduled between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Assignments typically provided in advance Work Environment Combination of office and field work Local travel is required to meet with caregivers and patients Supervision Reports to Agency Administrator and Staffing Manager.
