JOB DESCRIPTION

We are a well-established, family-run food wholesale company that supplies the 26 counties of the Republic of Ireland. We are currently recruiting an experienced Warehouse Stock Controller with a minimum of 2 year’s experience in a fast-paced environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious candidate who is passionate about food and eager to take on a new challenge within the wholesale industry.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a stock control or warehouse operations role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience using warehouse inventory systems – WMS.
• Strong analytical and numeracy skills.
• Proven ability to plan, organise and co-ordinate activities in a fast-moving working environment.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork skills.
• Forklift/PPT License preferred.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Conduct regular PI check and stock counts.
• Maintain accurate records of all stock movements in the internal inventory system.
• Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies or shortages promptly.
• Rotating stock.
• Generate weekly inventory reports for management.
• Investigate and resolve inventory variances.
• Ensure all administration reporting is completed at the end of each shift and a handover is complete.
• Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
• Performs other general warehouse duties as required.
• Follow all company policies and health and safety procedures.
• Excellent organisational and Communication skills.
• Possesses a positive attitude and proactive approach to workplace challenges.
