These specialists are organized into distinct groups: Job Description Egis is seeking a highly motivated Structural Junior Engineer/Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This position is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in structural analysis and design, working on diverse and challenging projects under the guidance of experienced professional engineers.​​​​​​​ Structural analyses: Assist in the design and analysis of structural components, performing calculations for ULS and SLS under the supervision of senior engineers. Learn and apply national and international standards to ensure designs are safe and meet legal guidelines. Technical drawing, optimizations & modifications: Prepare sketches, design drawings, schematics, and final working drawings using CAD/BIM software. Edit and revise existing drawings to reflect changes in design or project scope; optimize designs to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Technical support: Collect, organize, and analyze data to support engineering decisions and prepare technical reports, specifications, and opinions of probable cost. Assist in the preparation of project presentations and reports for stakeholders. Conduct site visits for feasibility studies, inspections, gathering data, and monitor construction quality to ensure it aligns with design standards. Collaboration: Work closely with design engineers and project managers to understand project specifications and requirements; collaborate with construction teams to ensure accurate implementation of blueprints. Quality Control: Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure high accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations; maintain organized project files and documentation for easy access and reference. Interpreting project briefs and meeting with Team Leader, Project Manager, engineers, and clients (if needed) to ensure all blueprints and technical drawings are completed to specifications. Communicating potential design issues to engineers and Team Leader/Project Manager. Producing rough sketches and using CAD software to prepare detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints. Ensuring drawings are compliant with building regulations and engineering principles. Qualifications EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable university in civil engineering or any relevant field. SKILLS Knowledge of industry standards, national code and regulations. Communication and collaboration skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under deadlines and manage priorities. Good work ethics. EXPERIENCE At least 3+ years of relevant experience is required Experience in an engineering consultant firm and/or contractor. Experience abroad is a strong advantage LANGUAGES Indonesia and English: it is required to understand reading, writing, and speaking.
