POSITION OVERVIEW
We offer a fast-paced, multi-discipline engineering environment where the successful candidate will be exposed to design elements in Structural, Mechanical, Process, Electrical, and Civil Engineering.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in preparing, drafting, and designing engineering drawings using appropriate standards.
- Demonstrated understanding of construction protocols and processes with the ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency with REVIT and AutoCAD is required.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute within a team-oriented environment.
- Previous internship or co-op experience in a structural engineering setting is considered an asset.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- EIT (Engineer-in-Training) designation or eligibility to obtain P.Eng in Ontario.
- Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and relevant CSA standards.

Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Structural Engineer with a strong foundation in structural design and analysis of institutional, healthcare, commercial, and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience and a keen interest in developing their technical skills and gaining valuable experience in various structural systems. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, the successful candidate will assist in all aspects of design and project coordination while contributing to innovative and cost-effective solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with senior designers and engineers to develop structural designs and drawings for buildings, infrastructure, and other structures.
- Preparation of specifications and drawings
- Assist in preparing structural analysis and calculations under the supervision of senior team members.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback from senior staff, project managers, or clients.
- Maintain organized documentation of designs, drawings, and project files.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical input as required.
- Support the team with research and data collection for structural projects.
