Responsibilities

As a Jr. System Administrator on the team, you will use experience to follow plans to assure effective management, operations, and maintenance of systems and/or networks. You will identify, gather, and analyze appropriate metrics to communicate system status and challenges. They will prioritize work and identify high risk critical problems and implement appropriate solutions. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Must have:

  • Experience remotely configuring and administering IT systems or devices
  • Demonstrated understanding of enterprise security baselines for devices
  • Basic understanding of IT networking and protocols
  • Ability to identify misconfigurations on IT devices and update them to standardized settings
  • Demonstrated experience successfully evaluating application configurations, version upgrades, and firmware changes, as appropriate for implementation within the enterprise
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electronics Engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of education.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with centralized printer management using Xerox, HP, Lexmark, or Ricoh printers
  • Experience in risk identification, risk analysis, risk management
