Description

WORKING AS JUNIOR SOFTWARE ANALYST

For this position we are seeking for a software engineer who will work with an Infotainment system based on Android Automotive. The team do the work close collaboration with Google and other major technology providers.
You will be a part of the Infotainment department and join some of the software teams, work with the Android platform, Android Automotive Apps, Audio, Connectivity, Driver Information, Entertainment, Personalization and Vehicle Functions (e.g. climate control).
The team work with the latest software development practices, and the development teams are supported with Continuous Integration (CI) frameworks and collaboration tools. The resulting software is released to other parts of the company and eventually to the factories and customers.

Some of your daily taks will be:

  • You will work with software development in combination with testing
  • Your role will involve developing frameworks for running tests provided by Google, this includes executing the tests, presenting results, as well as processing and managing them
  • Much of the work relates to supporting the vehicle projects and to act as an interface between the development organisation and the factories
  • The work will be a mix of development and hands-on tasks, including manual testing

We would like to see that you have some programming experience for this role as part of the job will be to develop and maintain our automatic release flows.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Are at the start of your career and hold a bachelor or master degree in software or electrical engineering or relevant field
  • Have an interest to build networks with people and are comfortable taking feedback
  • As a person you are a team player and communicative
  • Good knowledge in Python and Linux
  • Good knowledge in Android development
  • Has good knowledge in English, both verba and written
  • Have an interest in testing
  • For this position you need a driving licence
