ABOUT THE ROLE

HVAC systems in the residential sector encompass different technologies for the production of energy (heat pumps, gas boilers, solar panels), for thermal and electrical storage and for the distribution of energy within the indoor environment (hydraulic modules, fan coils, radiators, floor heating).
The integration of these technologies in the residential HVAC system is the key to ensure comfort by respecting the increasing requirements on energy efficiency.
In this context, the Junior System Engineer undertakes a professional training path by starting to work withing the R&D lab team in order to acquire robust specific product technical knowledge and become aware of processes and procedures. The Junior System Engineer will grow skills to lead system integration in new product development initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Junior System Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Assisting in technical analysis and defining test plans to integrate new heat pumps into Residential System solutions
  • Setting up, configuring and operating residential heat pumps and hybrid systems to carry out testing activity
  • Using test procedures and standards to define test specifications, executing experimental activity to provide expected data
  • Critically analysing of experimental data, preparing test reports and discussing test results with design team
  • Acquiring knowledge of testing facilities and equipment, define and improve testing procedures and supporting the improvement of laboratory facilities
  • Supporting performing analysis at all levels of total system product including: concept, design, fabrication, test, certification, installation, operation, maintenance.
  • Supporting in the preparation of product technical documentation
