JUNIOR SYSTEM SOFTWARE ENGINEER, DONCASTER

Yorkshire Talent Partners are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior System Software Engineer to join a successful team based in Doncaster.
In this role, you will be involved in a broad range of work, supporting the core systems which keep the company’s machines always running efficiently and reliably.
Day to day you will be evaluating and testing new hardware, ensuring smooth software integration, and contributing to the businesses confidence that everything is running and operating just as it should.
Working closely with developers, testers, and engineers, you will all work as a team which is committed to delivering high-quality systems. Whether it’s diagnosing and fixing issues or trialling new components, each day brings new challenges and opportunities to learn.
This is an excellent step for recent graduates with a degree in computer science or related field to work and develop their skill set within a challenging, dynamic, and rapidly growing environment and industry.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JUNIOR SYSTEM SOFTWARE ENGINEER:

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with C# and/or C++.
• Operating systems knowledge (Windows API).

• Development of system software for the machines.
• Evaluation of new PC systems.
• Supporting applications for the machine accountancy systems.
• Fault evaluation and rectification during development and testing.
• Integration of new hardware peripherals using supplied specs, development kits and communications with suppliers.
