Description

Working primarily at local field sites, you will accept and execute work orders, perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on access network equipment, assist with deployments and equipment installations, and provide on-site customer support for business clients. Takes over and executes work orders in accordance with defined instructions. Performs less complex preventive and corrective maintenance activities on access network equipment and systems; Participates in the implementation of access network equipment and systems; provides on-site support for business customers. Reports on the operational status of the access network and its elements; Maintains and manages access network equipment; Installs and dismantles telecommunication devices and equipment according to technical instructions; Performs less complex new cabling installations required for connecting network devices within facilities; Installs spare parts and replaces units and components of systems; Performs less complex (re)configuration of network equipment in the access network according to technical guidelines; Performs minor repair works within facilities (such as carpentry or metalwork repairs). Provides support to employees within the same department in order to assist with their assigned duties. Keeps records and controls spare parts. Fieldwork is mandatory. Performs other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
