JOB SUMMARY

M. Braun, Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Junior Systems Specialist to join our growing Technical Department. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who’s eager to learn and gain technical expertise in glovebox systems and inert atmosphere containment technology.
You’ll work closely with senior team members on system testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance in a fast-paced, industrial equipment manufacturing environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering/Technology—or equivalent technical training/experience
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience (co-ops, internships, or hands-on training highly valued)
  • Familiarity with basic mechanical and electrical tools, concepts, and systems
  • Willingness to learn to read P&IDs, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Basic knowledge of vacuum or gas-handling systems is a plus (not required)
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • Physically capable of performing light manual tasks in a manufacturing setting

PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to bend, lift, kneel, and perform hands-on tasks
  • Able to read diagrams and follow technical instructions
  • Comfortable in an active, physically engaged work environment
  • Adaptability and readiness to face technical challenges with guidance
Responsibilities
  • Assist in acceptance testing of standard glovebox systems under senior supervision
  • Learn to read and interpret engineering documents, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
  • Support troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues and document findings
  • Participate in hands-on training for advanced system testing, including automation components
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to understand and improve manufacturing processes
  • Prepare basic reports and documentation on system performance and non-conformances
  • Observe and assist with field service calls, system installations, and customer-site commissioning (travel up to 25–30%)
  • Support internal projects including product upgrades and testing enhancements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
