We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role provides the opportunity to build a strong foundation in accounting and tax compliance while working closely with experienced professionals. You will play a key role in supporting tax filings, audits, and day-to-day accounting functions.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare and ensure timely completion of sales and use tax returns
• Support the monthly sales and use tax cycle
• Develop an understanding of tax-exempt certificates across various jurisdictions
• Provide assistance with internal and external audits
• Collaborate with and support the Senior Accountant on projects and reporting needs

Qualifications:

• Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or a related field
• 0–2 years of accounting experience (internships or co-op experience strongly preferred)
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practicesSkills & Competencies
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Exceptional organization and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information

Additional Information:
Salary Range: $50-60K per year
Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
