Drive compliance and accuracy that keep our operations running smoothly and in line with tax regulations. In this role, you’ll support tax processes for CMMX and, to a lesser extent, CMBS, acting as a key liaison with tax consultants and ensuring timely, accurate reporting to authorities. Your work will help safeguard our financial integrity and optimize tax-related workflows. HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Partner with Tax Consultants: Coordinate monthly and annual data requests for income tax and PTU calculations. Review, record, and process federal tax payments. Ensure Accuracy: Detect and reconcile differences between SAP, SAT portal, and tax calculations. Validate Compliance: Review invoices to ensure they meet government requirements and follow up on SAT notifications. Manage Electronic Accounting: Prepare and submit electronic accounting records as required by authorities. Support Adjustments & Consulting: Assist with statutory accounting adjustments and provide support for tax consulting activities. Track VAT Cash Flow: Monitor VAT refunds, track aging balances, and assist consultants in the refund process. Audit Coordination: Receive and follow up on internal and external audits to ensure compliance and readiness. QUALIFICATIONS Must Have: Strong knowledge of Accounting and Mexican Tax regulations. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; SAP experience is a plus. Familiarity with SAT portal and VAT refund processes. Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. English: Conversational level (read, write, and speak). Nice to Have: Knowledge of transfer pricing, corporate income tax, and monthly/annual tax declarations.
