JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Junior Technical Superintendent Reports to: CTOO Location: Athens - GR Job Summary: Daily assistant to the technical superintendents in the monitoring and collection of technical data of vessels, which are needed for KPI established MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in the update and management of all statutory and class certificates, in the ERP platform used by the company Prepare and update the technical details of each one vessel and keep updated all technical manuals and drawing of the vessels Monitoring the upload in the ERP platform of the company of all the technical forms and records necessitated by the PMS system of the company Assisting in the tracking of requisitions submitted from the vessels for spare parts and engine stores in cooperation with procurement department Monitoring the status of defects and overdue jobs of all the vessels and reporting to Technical Manager frequently Monitoring the PMS works completed weekly and reporting for incomplete records Monitoring the noon reports for the technical details instructing the vessels for missing points or incorrect records Monitoring the status of the spare parts onboard the vessels and reporting for omissions Assisting the TSI for the timely preparation of the attendance reports Cooperating closely with Operations and HSQE department Assisting the TSI in Planning regular repairs/dry docking in advance with max time specific works and costs calculations for each vessel DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE BSc in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering or equivalent Working experience of minimum two (2) years in similar position Effective communication skills Sharp analytical skills and logical thinking Excellent verbal and written use of Greek & English (any other European languages is a plus) Computer literate (Microsoft Office and Operations ERP systems) Knowledge of Benefit ERP, will be a plus Detail oriented, well organized, and proactive for continuous improvement Willing to travel Life & Health Insurance Dental Insurance Daily Lunch Allowance Annual Discretionary Bonus Special Bday Gift Opportunities of personal and professional growth Young and vibrant working environment
Responsibilities
