Job Summary
As an Associate Technical Writer, you will assist with creating and maintaining technical documentation. You will also interpret data and assist in coordinating the layout for publication. Collaborating with subject matter experts to gather information for technical documentation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintaining instructions for use, technical service instructions, labels, and label overviews as part of product maintenance
  • Design and creation of labels and label overviews for devices and accessories
  • Revision of user manuals, brief instructions, and service instructions in required languages
  • Archiving of documents in paper and digital versions
  • Coordination of required information units for revision and creation of technical information for use
  • Creating graphics and product images
  • General tasks within the team:
  • Managing enquiries and general tasks in the Technical Writing department
  • Active participation in innovation processes
  • Strict adherence to quality, EHS and work instructions; implementation of instructions by quality/environmental management officers and occupational safety specialist

Required Experience, Education, Skills and Competencies
Education and Training:
Completed education or qualification as assistant technical communicator, technical writer or technical editor, or equivalent.

Relevant Experience:

  • Professional experience in technical writing would be beneficial
  • Experience in desktop publishing, CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator and/or Adobe
  • Independent command of the English language (B2), German language is a plus

  • Willingness to travel to all company sites and visit business contacts (especially at the beginning)
