• Assisting Garment technicians
• Managing your own accounts under the supervision of a Garment tech
• Measure and prepare fit samples for weekly fit sessions.
• Attend fit sessions and type up fit comments and take photos if required.
• Create measurement specs on EDH after fit meeting and type up fit comments.
• Liaise with ‘Garment Techs’ on fit issues before Downloading workbooks to send out to supplier.
• Finalising specs including grading with ‘Tech’.
• Maintain consistency of fit in line with Roman customer expectation.
• To have a reasonable understanding of patterns and garment construction.
• Ensure suppliers meet Roman quality expectations.
• Liaising with factories on all aspects.
• Keen eye for fit assessment, quality, and attention to detail.
• Checking and approving wash care artwork and test reports.
• Keeping Critical Path up to date.
• Chasing the critical path.
• Assisting on warehouse delivery checking and stock buys.
• Covering warehouse duties as and when required.
• Responsible for putting checked samples away first thing each morning.
• Responsible for managing sample storage areas i.e.: Reference Isle, production Avenue, Photo shoot, shipment isle and stock buys. Ensuring stock is rotated in a timely manner.
• You will also be required to travel to our other warehouse to help sort out the shipment reference library.
