No matter the need, we keep our customers supplied and running. We are currently seeking a Technology Generalist to join our growing Tech Team. The Junior Technology Generalist at Keep Supply provides day-to-day support to keep the company’s technology running smoothly. This role serves as the first point of contact for IT issues, helping employees with basic troubleshooting, and escalating more complex problems to senior technical team members. They assist with onboarding and offboarding by setting up accounts, devices, and access, and help maintain employee workstations, peripherals, and mobile devices. Additionally, the Junior Technology Generalist supports core software platforms, monitors basic network performance, manages hardware inventory, and helps document common issues to build a shared knowledge base. This role allows the technology team to focus on larger projects while ensuring employees have the tools and support they need to work effectively. Primary Responsibilities Own the IT help desk queue — triage, resolve, and escalate first-tier issues with clear communication to end users throughout Serve as liaison between end users and technical teams when escalating to developers or architects Execute the technology aspects of onboarding and offboarding in partnership with People & Culture Configure, deploy, and maintain employee workstations, peripherals, and mobile devices (Windows and/or macOS) Administer core SaaS platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, or similar) — accounts, access, and basic configuration Monitor network performance and make basic optimizations for reliability, speed, and security Maintain hardware asset inventory and manage equipment purchases through approved vendors Document recurring issues and resolutions to build a shared knowledge base Free up the Senior Technology Generalist for larger projects by owning day-to-day tactical coverage Requirements Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, IT, or related field Hands-on troubleshooting ability across hardware, software, and connectivity Familiarity with networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN Familiarity with identity/directory tools: Active Directory, Google Workspace Admin, or Azure AD Basic experience with a scripting or programming language (Python, PowerShell, SQL, or similar) Basic knowledge of network and endpoint security practices Comfortable with an IT ticketing system (Jira, Freshdesk, Zendesk, or similar) Able to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users Traits of the Successful Candidate Humble, hungry, and smart Passionate about solving problems — and about the people behind them High standards for both technical quality and customer service Calm and effective under shifting priorities Eager to grow under mentorship and to help others do the same Company Culture We are a small, scrappy team and all of us do a lot of different things every day.
