We are seeking a proactive, self-reliant Junior Test Automation Engineer to join our partner’s global testing projects in the field of telecommunications. This role offers strong growth opportunities and high autonomy, allowing you to take ownership of tasks in a test-focused environment. You will handle routine testing, including manual and automated tests, while gaining expertise across multiple projects and expanding your domain knowledge in a dynamic environment. We are looking for a candidate who is eager to learn, adaptable, and able to work independently while also thriving in a team environment.

Key tasks:

• Automating tests using the Robot framework.
• Assisting software engineers in writing and automating test cases.
• Configuring and executing performance tests, analyzing the results.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Sc./M.Sc. in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Interest in Quality Assurance.
• Solid understanding of basic testing principles.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with developers and clients.
• Ability to handle repetitive tasks and work independently while demonstrating proactivity.
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA).
• Fluency in English and Hungarian, both written and spoken.
• Openness to learning and continuously developing new skills.

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS, PERSONAL TRAITS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience with test automation, particularly using Robot Framework.
• ISTQB certification or relevant experience.
