The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who is excited about UI and API test automation. What to expect: Test Automation Development: Write efficient and maintainable UI and API tests, including thorough documentation and test reporting to ensure transparency and reproducibility of test results. Test Automation Maintenance: Maintain existing tests to ensure continued support for the ways customers use our services. Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering teams to align development efforts with reliability, scalability, and business objectives. Documentation: Produce high-quality test plans for APIs, systems, and processes to ensure stability, speed, and scalability. Our new team member will need: Experience in writing automated tests using Python (Selenium) Experience with cloud infrastructure and knowledge of cloud-based services Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to address automation challenges Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work cross-functionally with teams and stakeholders A commitment to continuous learning and fostering a culture of technical excellence Nice to Have: Familiarity with running tests through GitLab CI Proficiency with observability tools such as Grafana for monitoring and reporting test failures Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes or other similar technologies Familiarity with Database as a Service (DBaaS) Knowledge of cloud-based storage solutions Compensation $60,000 - $75,000 This salary can vary based on location, years of experience, background, and skill set.
