POSITION SUMMARY

Technical Systems Integration (TSI) is seeking a Junior-Level Training System Analyst to join our team supporting the Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) at the Surface Advanced Warfighting School (SAWS) in San Diego, CA. This entry-level position provides an excellent opportunity to begin a career in naval training systems while supporting the development and operation of advanced training simulators and educational programs. The successful candidate will work alongside senior analysts and instructors to support cutting-edge training technologies and help prepare surface warfare personnel for complex combat scenarios across Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) and Surface Warfare (SUW) domains.

EXPERIENCE:

• 1+ year of recent experience developing high-quality graphics for presentations
• 1+ year of recent experience providing classroom instruction on topics related to Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) and Surface Warfare (SUW) areas

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• 1+ year of recent proficiency with Adobe software including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, and Premiere or equivalent computer programs
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Willingness to learn database management systems and data analysis tools

Required Competencies:

• Basic instructional support and classroom assistance capabilities
• Interest in Navy surface warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures
• Ability to learn training simulator systems and their operational requirements
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures

DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE:

• Basic understanding of Navy surface warfare operations
• Interest in ASW and SUW combat systems and procedures
• Knowledge of military training environments and methodologies
• Familiarity with Navy terminology and organizational structure

COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS

• Security Clearance: SECRET (current and active)
• Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required
• Background Check: NCIS background check required
• Travel Requirements: Minimal travel, typically less than 10%

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work in standard office and training facility environments
• Extended periods of computer work and detailed visual tasks involving simulators and training systems
• Ability to attend meetings, training sessions, and collaborate in various work settings
• Standard office mobility requirements with occasional movement between training facilities
