We are recruiting a professional to join our VAT team in Verona, who will be tasked with:

• providing ongoing consultancy to companies on indirect tax matters;
• expressing opinions on the application of indirect taxes on domestic and cross-border transactions;
• analyzing the VAT and direct tax impacts of corporate finance transactions (sales of companies, mergers, demergers, contributions, etc.) and domestic and international corporate restructuring;
• analyzing the tax risks by conducting internal audits and preparing operating procedures;
• VAT due diligence;
• VAT compliance.

Qualifications/requirements

• a master’s degree in business or law with final marks of over 100/110;
• a good knowledge of English;
• excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Desired characteristics

• candidates with a master’s degree in tax law and/or certification to practice as a chartered accountant or lawyer are preferred;
• excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills;
• flexible and dynamic approach.
