Turner Animal Hospital is a busy 2 doctor small animal practice in the Turner Neighborhood of Kansas City, KS ( Just about 1.5 miles north of Shawnee and Merriam ) is looking for a part-time or full time Veterinary Assistant. This is ideal for a high school or college student, who want to get their foot in the door in the vet industry.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• 16 or Older
• High School Diploma/ GED or currently enrolled in High School
• Hard Working
• Ability to learn quickly
• Team Player
• Passion for helping animals and people
  Job Type: Part-time
  Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Duties Include but are not limited to:
* Cleaning
*Filling Prescriptions
* Handling Animals
*Interacting with pet owners on the phone
* Keeping exam rooms and kennels clean
*Stocking Inventory
*Assisting in care of animals
* Running lab tests
* Learning Vet Tech skills
