Overview:
Lutron has an immediate need for a Junior Visual Designer to join the Communications team at our Conshohocken office location. In this role, you will support the creative development and execution of marketing materials, maintaining visual identity, usability, and brand continuity. You will build knowledge of our products, markets, and audiences to implement designs that address our marketing and business objectives. To succeed, you must exhibit outstanding design skills and be able to collaborate with the program managers and creative teams to create market-leading, effective outputs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and production of visually engaging and impactful design solutions across print and various digital platforms, including social, web, mobile, and software.
• Collaborate with the Photo/Video Team.
• Create compelling motion graphics and animations that enhance user experiences and convey complex ideas in an intuitive manner, mostly for marketing purposes.
• Collaborate with Sr. Designers, Art Directors, UX/UI designers, product managers, and developers to ensure design consistency and alignment with project goals.

• Adhere to design guidelines and standards to ensure a cohesive visual identity.Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in visual and motion design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• 2-4 years of experience in visual design, with a strong portfolio showcasing both static and motion design work.
• Portfolio that demonstrates a strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles
• Proficiency in design software Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
• Experience in creating UI/UX designs is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.
