Location/Division Specific Information: Join our Pharma Services Group (PSG) at our state-of-the-art facility in Swindon, United Kingdom. As a Junior Warehouse Operator within our Drug Product Development (DPD) division, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our pharmaceutical development and manufacturing processes. How Will You Make an Impact?: In this role, you'll ensure the efficient storage, handling, and distribution of materials essential to our drug development projects. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will contribute directly to the creation of life-changing medicines. What you will do: Receive, store, and distribute raw materials, components, and finished products in compliance with cGMP regulations Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts Prepare materials for production and packaging processes according to work orders Ensure proper labelling and documentation of all warehouse activities REQUIREMENTS: Education: No specific educational qualifications are required for this role. We value practical skills, work ethic, and the ability to learn on the job. Experience Required: Minimum of 6 months experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar operational environment Preferred: Valid forklift license is preferred, however, willingness to obtain one would also be considered Experience using manual handling equipment Experience in a pharmaceutical or regulated industry setting would be an advantage Familiarity with inventory management systems and barcode scanning technology Understanding of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) or Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Proficiency in warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office suite Physical Requirements / Work Environment: The role requires the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 kg, stand for extended periods, and operate material handling equipment.
