SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• A degree or diploma in Web Design, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field, OR equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar software (e.g., Figma).
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS. Experience with JavaScript is a bonus.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
• Knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and best practices.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and Google Analytics.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong portfolio showcasing design work (even from personal projects or university).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Web Designer / Digital Marketing Assistant. This hybrid role is perfect for a recent graduate or someone early in their career who is eager to gain hands-on experience in both web design and digital marketing. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, a foundational understanding of web technologies, and a keen interest in digital marketing trends.
You will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of websites, as well as supporting our digital marketing campaigns across various channels. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Web Design & Development Support:
• Assist in the design and layout of new websites and web pages, primarily using platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or similar CMS.
• Create and edit visual content, including graphics, images, and icons, for websites and marketing materials.
• Ensure websites are responsive and mobile-friendly.
• Conduct basic website maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with senior designers and developers to bring web projects to life.
• Digital Marketing Assistance:
• Support the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns (e.g., social media, email marketing, content marketing).
• Assist in creating engaging content for social media platforms, blogs, and email newsletters.
• Schedule and post content on various social media channels.
• Help with email marketing campaigns, including list management and performance tracking.
• Conduct keyword research and assist with on-page SEO optimization.
• Monitor and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing and web design trends.
