TLMC (The London Management Company) is an independent residential Property Management company, looking after private UHNW clients in Prime Central London. We are a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and this role is best suited to a team player who has acute attention to detail, is organised, and motivated.
TLMC operates in the Super Prime & Prime markets in Central London & Surrey with in-house Housekeeping, Specialist Cleaning, Maintenance & Project Management teams. This role will be in our specialist cleaning department, working closely with our window cleaning team.
Role and Responsibilities:
The role is a full-time, permanent position of 40 working hour per week, working across our portfolio of managed properties, Monday to Friday 8:30am – 17:30pm.
Outlined below are the roles and responsibilities for the position of Junior window cleaner for The London Management Company (TLMC).

Specific Responsibilities:

• Working with the team supervisor to train and gain experience in cleaning internal & external windows using traditional methods where possible (reach & wash equipment is available for inaccessible windows).
• Comfortable working from a ladder at height, training can be provided on this.
• Removing dirt and grime from windows and glass surfaces using a non-abrasive glass cleaning solution, water, and rubber squeegee blades.
• Working with the team supervisor to train and gain experience in determining whether window glass is clear, reflective, or tinted, and adapting window cleaning techniques accordingly.
• Using a cloth to dry around the edges of the glass.
• Using towelling cloths to remove excess water and moisture from window sills.
• Working with the team supervisor to learn how to check that all window cleaning equipment is in good working order.
• Working with the team supervisor to train and gain experience in appropriately cleaning up after each job to ensure that there is no residue or dirt left behind.
• Working with the team supervisor to train and gain experience in performing jet washing jobs including applying acid to aid cleaning of surfaces – Training can be provided if no prior experience
• Working with the team supervisor to train and gain experience in performing gutter clearance jobs - Training can be provided if no prior experience

Requirements:

• Valid UK driver’s license not essential but beneficial
• Enjoys working as part of a team
• Wants to learn, progress and gain a genuine career in window cleaning
• Basic knowledge of industry-related health and safety regulations
• Effective communication skills.

Employee Benefits:

Salary Range: £30,000 - £32,000 p.a. dependent on experience
